The com­mu­nity has been moved from forums.ajaxim.com to a Google group. This should be a more sta­ble and friend­lier envi­ron­ment for Ajax IM support.

Addi­tion­ally, for those of you who are hav­ing trou­ble with 4.0a, please see the Ajax IM GitHub repos­i­tory for the lat­est ver­sion. The cur­rent code, which will even­tu­ally be 4.0 beta 1, elim­i­nates the need for PHP.
